Please give a warm welcome to Mr. Thompson. He is excited to be starting his career as a principal at CES in the 2023-2024 School Year. Prior to this, he was a Music Teacher at Broadneck Elementary for 9 years, Assistant Principal at Odenton Elementary for 8 years, and Assistant Principal at Edgewater Elementary for 1 year. In those years, he has developed a lifelong love of working with elementary students, a firm dedication to the work of public schools, and a strong affection for vision and values of AACPS. His favorite part of working in schools has been the relationships he’s been able to forge with the children, teachers, and families, and he’s thrilled to be joining a school community where the emphasis on connection is already so apparent, and where he has already received such a wonderful welcome.
