JOG-A-THON-Día de las carreras Jog A Thon

We are very excited that this year we will once again have our annual Jog A Thon! Congratulations to Isabella Montelongo for winning the Jog-A-Thon t-Shirt design contest! The shirts will be beautiful! However, we have to follow all the COVID guidelines. Only parents who have received their confirmation from the district to volunteer will be able to help set up tables and student snacks during their participation time and will always have to keep 6 feet apart. These VOLUNTEERS, please confirm your participation with Ms. Claudia in the front office, as soon as possible, and on the day of the event come to the front office to pick up your label indicating that you are volunteers. There will be a dedicated cheering area where you can observe the Jog a Thon. Visitors will enter through the parking gate behind the school to go to the cheering area. We ask that you come at your child’s designated time and leave promptly to make space for the parents in the grade level that follows.

8:45-9:15        5th grade

9:25-9:55         Kinder

10:00-10:30         4th grade

10:35-11:05         2nd grade

11:05-12:45         Break

12:45-1:15         3rd grade

¡Estamos muy emocionados que este año tendremos de nuevo nuestras carreras anuales del Jog A Thon! ¡Muchas felicidades a Isabella Montelongo por ser la ganadora del concurso del diseño de las camisetas del Jog A Thon! ¡Se verán muy bonitas! Sin embargo, tenemos que seguir al pie de la letra las indicaciones y precauciones contra el COVID que se nos marcan.  Solamente los padres que han recibido su confirmación del distrito para ser voluntarios podrán ayudar a acomodar las mesas y los bocadillos de los estudiantes durante su hora de participar y siempre tendrán que mantener 6 pies de distancia.  Estos padres VOLUNTARIOS, por favor, confirmen con Ms. Claudia su participación lo antes posible y el día del evento pasen a la oficina de enfrente a recoger su etiqueta indicando que son voluntarios.  Para los padres que vienen COMO VISITANTES a apoyar a sus niños, podrán hacerlo un poco de lejitos ya que tendrán que entrar por la reja del estacionamiento que está atrás de la escuela y mantenerse en el área de porras.  Pedimos que vengan nada más durante el tiempo asignado a su niño y que se retire lo antes posible para hacer campo para los padres del grado que sigue.
