Meet & Greet Purpose: Parent Engagement & Support

Our meet & greet is the perfect opportunity to welcome our SJE families and share information about the Foundation and the PTA as well as some of our biggest events/fundraisers. 

 

When & Where: 1st day of school drop off- pick up in the MPR

Don't feel like you need to stay the entire time,come and go and get any questions answered.

 

Refreshments: Hosted jointly by the Foundation & the PTA

We plan on having coffee and donuts available to all in attendance.  

 

Event & Activity Chairs or Representatives: 

If you are helping at SJE already or have knowledge of some of the ways we need more parent involvement we would love to have you representing what you're passionate about (bookfair, garden clean up, talent show, etc). Many parents don't know all the different ways they can get plugged in so this is a great time to promote what we do. If you have photos, info flyers, or other visuals you can set up at one of our tables and share that would be great. I will make sure we have plenty of sign up sheets for all our future volunteers!
We will also have representatives in attendance for Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, GRIP, and Calfresh.

Nuestro encuentro y saludo es la oportunidad perfecta para dar la bienvenida a nuestras familias SJE y compartir información sobre la Fundación y la PTA, así como algunos de nuestros eventos/recaudadores de fondos más importantes.

Cuándo y dónde: 1er día de clases dejar y recoger en el MPR
No sienta que necesita quedarse todo el tiempo, vaya y venga y obtenga respuestas a sus preguntas.

Refrescos: organizado conjuntamente por la Fundación y la PTA
Planeamos tener café y donas disponibles para todos los asistentes.

Presidentes o representantes de eventos y actividades:
Si ya está ayudando en SJE o tiene conocimiento de algunas de las formas en que necesitamos más participación de los padres, nos encantaría que represente lo que le apasiona (feria del libro, limpieza del jardín, concurso de talentos, etc.). Muchos padres no conocen las diferentes formas en que pueden conectarse, por lo que este es un buen momento para promover lo que hacemos. Si tiene fotos, folletos de información u otras imágenes, puede instalarse en una de nuestras mesas y compartir, sería genial.
¡Me aseguraré de que tengamos muchas hojas de inscripción para todos nuestros futuros voluntarios!
También tendremos representantes de Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, GRIP y Calfresh.
