Day of the Child celebration was held on Saturday, April 28 at Stone Field.  This event supports under-served communities.  It was a day full of food, entertainment, and fun.  The San Juan Elementary cast of the Jungle Book musical performed at the event.  They were terrific. 

San Juan Elementary was invited to sell drinks and treats at the event.  The second grade parents and high school student volunteers ran the booth and raised approximately $650 for second grade OSS.  

Thank you to the second grade parents and student volunteers.  Thanks also to Christina Sepe for coordinating the student volunteers from Aliso Niguel high school.

It was a great community building event.

It's never too early to start raising funds for our students to attend outdoor science school in fifth grade.
