I hope everyone is healthy and doing great!

There are several activities I would like to make you aware of.

First of all, the teachers have asked for the room parents' help in regards to the read-a-thon that will take place on Tuesday, 2/28. It's a little bit of last minute, but they would love to have parents come in to read to the class for a short period of time (10-15min). Reach out to your teacher and your parents to coordinate. 

Next, we will be having a Room Parent Meeting next Wednesday at 8am in the MPR. I'm planning on taking about an hour. This meeting will be open to any parent who would like to come as we will be talking and planning for the Spring Festival. Booths will be assigned at the meeting as well, and I will try to make it available on zoom.

This year, the Spring Festival will take place on April 28th. We are trying to get started sooner with the planning so we can get as many volunteers as possible with your help. Please, COME and bring a friend (or many)!

I also wanted to let everyone know that the due date for your silent auction baskets assigned to the Spring Festival is March 8th. Each basket needs to be wrapped and turned into room 21 contact Esther 949-280-8594.

At last, I would also like to let you know that both the Foundation and the PTA have positions opening for the next school year. I know the Foundation is looking for a President, and I believe the PTA is looking for a treasurer. Let me know if you are interested in serving in any of those positions, or if you know anyone who would be interested.

El miércoles, 1 de marzo, tendremos una reunión a las 8am en el salón MPR. Esta reunión está abierta a todos los padres que quieran venir ya que vamos a hablar y planear sobre el festival de primavera. Se asignarán los puestos en esta reunión tambien. Este año el festival es el 28 de abril. Estamos intentando planear con tiempo para conseguir el mayor numero de voluntarios con su ayuda. Por favor VENGAN y traigan un amigo /a (o varios)! Tambien queria hacerles saber que la fecha de entrega de las canastas para el festival, es el 8 de marzo. Todas las canastas deben estar envueltas y entregadas  al salón 21 para mas preguntas contactarme con Esther 949-280-8594

Finalmente, quiero compartir que la Fundación y la PTA estan buscando a voluntarios para diferentes posiciones antes de que comience el curso que viene. La Fundación esta en busca de un presidente o presidenta, y la PTA de un encargado/a de las arcas. Contáctenme si les interesa o si conocen a alguien que le interese.
