The KSE PTA and school counselors have invited Dr. Patti Agatson to speak to parents about Kids and Social Media.  Her presentation will cover:

• Kids and Technology;
• Digital Citizenship;
• An Overview of Popular Social Apps;
• Tips for Communicating with and Monitoring Your Kids; and
• Cyberbullying -- what's the big deal?

Dr. Agatson is co-author of several books on cyber bullying, is a certified trainer for a bullying prevention program, has appeared on CNN and other local and national radio and television programs to discuss cyber bullying and other risky online behavior.  She is a licensed professional counselor and prevention specialist with the CCSD's Prevention/Intervention Center.
