Red Ribbon Week
KSE will celebrate Red Ribbon Week which is the national campaign for Drug-Free Awareness on October 23-October 27. The purpose of this week is to educate our children about the dangers of using tobacco, misusing medications, and abusing alcohol or drugs. This year's theme is “Your future is key so stay drug free.” There will be lots of great prizes for students and classes with the most participation!
Monday – “Your future is key so stay drug free!”
Participation: Wear as much red as possible
Tuesday – “Put a cap on drugs.”
Participation: Crazy hat or crazy hair day
Wednesday – “I have better things to do than drugs.”
Participation: Wear “what they do” such as a scout uniform, their team jersey, club shirt/mascot, musical note on shirt, etc.
Thursday – “Drugs are ridiculous.”
Participation: Wear mis-matched or ridiculous outfits
Friday – “Heroes are drug free.”
Participation: Dress as a hero
