Read Across America Student Essay Contest Is Here!
As part of this year’s Read Across America celebration, the PTA is sponsoring a student essay contest. Students in all grades may enter. The title of your essay should be “Why I Like to Read,” and entries are limited to two (2) pages. The deadline to enter the contest is Friday, February 16. Essays may be dropped off in both Media Centers. Please be sure to write your name, grade, and classroom on your essay. Prizes will be awarded at the classroom and grade levels. Everyone who enters the contest will receive a bookmark!
Read Across America will take place the morning of Friday, March 2, at both campuses. We will have volunteer readers in each of the classrooms. If you are interested in volunteering for the event, please contact Trudi Sakowitz at tsak25@gmail.com.
