March 5^th- 9^th Beta Club will be hosting National Beta Club Week.

All week we will be collecting PENS, PENCILS, PINK ERASERS, and EXPO MARKERS, for the teachers at Fair Oaks Elementary who are a little short on supplies. Each day will be a different theme and activity. Please read carefully, we are asking students and teachers to participate each day.

Monday- “Make an Impact”: We will have “joy” jars at the front of both campuses in the morning for students to write a note of “joy” to our lunch staff and custodians.

Tuesday- “Transform Yourself”: We will have a floor length mirror and giant thought bubble at each campus with sticky notes. When students walk by throughout the day they will remark on one thing they like about themselves when they look in the mirror and place it on the thought bubble.

Wednesday- “Willing to Serve”: We will air a video on KSTV about 5 ways you can serve daily in your classroom. Teachers will award EXTRA HOUSE POINTS for students who exhibit “service” in your classroom on this day.

Thursday- “Take Action”: In class, students will write notes of encouragement to the teachers of Fair Oaks Elementary. Materials will be provided to students. 

Friday – “Focus on Leading”: Jr. Beta Club officers will be interviewing Fair Oaks’ Lighthouse Leadership Club about what it means to be a leader, and it will be aired on KSTV.
