Google is hosting a family safety workshop designed to help parents learn from experts and each other. The focus of the 2-hour event is on digital citizenship, online safety, and media literacy. There will be local experts, Googlers, members of the PTA, and other family safety experts on hand to help guide the event.

The event is happening at the Google Atlanta office on 10th Street NE on April 23 from 6-8pm.

You'll learn about what you can do to keep yourself and your family safer online, what Google, the PTA, and other organizations are doing, and also have some fun at a Google office. For those who need to bring their children, we will have a separate space for children to explore online safety games and other resources during the workshop so the parents can gather together separately. Food, drinks, and other goodies will be provided.

Space is very limited so please be sure to be descriptive when you share what you hope to learn and share at the workshop. More information will be provided if you are accepted.

You will be notified if your application to attend is accepted by April 16, 2018.
