King Springs has a lot to celebrate!  We are a National PTA School of Excellence and we're pursuing AdvancED STEM Certification.  Plus, our PRIDE is strong -- our House Color behavioral system emphasizes positivity, respectfulness, integrity, dependability, and enthusiasm.  To kick off the school year and celebrate all of this exciting news, we hosted a Celebration of Excellence Pep Rally on September 11. 

STEAM Bug joined us for a STEM demonstration -- a rocket launch! -- and Dr. Szwec and our STEM teachers, Ms. Wilfred & Ms. Whitesell, led us in cheering for STEM and KSE.  Springer and the Chick-fil-A cow even joined in the fun! 

As a super special, top-secret surprise, the PTA gifted each student with a STEM t-shirt in his/her house color and size.  Thank you, parents and families, for supporting the PTA's fundraisers and allowing us to make this special surprise happen!

And now, with this pep rally as an amazing start, we're off and running toward AdvancED STEM Certification!
