Did you know King Springs has a Food Allergy Pantry? Are you a parent or guardian of a student with a dietary food restriction or allergy? Even with excellent communication and coordination with your child’s teacher(s), there will be times that an activity, celebration, or treat may cause a student to miss out. King Springs has created a food allergen pantry to provide teachers the opportunity to find suitable substitutes for the times when a student would normally have to miss out on an activity or celebration. The pantry is stocked with individually wrapped and clearly labeled food items allowing your child’s teacher to make the appropriate selection based on their needs. Be on the lookout for a permission slip indicating if you would be interested in allowing your child to participate in using the pantry when appropriate.
